Delivery & Pick-Up
Freshly baked. Delivered properly.
How Our Delivery Works
We bake overnight so you can enjoy truly fresh bread. Everything is mixed, rested, and shaped the day before. It goes through the ovens in the middle of the night, is packed before sunrise, and leaves our bakery with our drivers from 4am onward.
We do not offer same-day ordering and delivery.
All online orders require a 48-hour pre-order window so we can bake to order.
Delivery Areas
We deliver across:
-
Most of the Waikato
-
Most of the Bay of Plenty
-
Most of Auckland
If you live rural or well outside a city centre, your order may be delivered by an external courier. In these cases:
-
Delivery may not arrive the same day it’s baked
-
We don’t recommend ordering pastries
-
We’ll contact you if your address isn’t suitable
Our system gets this right most of the time, but occasionally an address slips through that we simply can’t reach reliably. If you think you may be borderline, please get in touch before ordering. If you order anyway and your address isn’t serviceable, we may not know until the day before delivery – and nobody enjoys that conversation.
Unsure?
Email orders@volarebread.co.nz before you purchase and we’ll check your address.
Delivery Timeframes
Most orders arrive between early morning and midday.
If you have specific delivery notes (gate codes, access, where to leave items), add them at checkout or contact us.
Holiday Periods
During peak seasons (Christmas, Easter), our bakers start earlier to keep up with demand. We also don’t deliver on the actual public holiday, so most customers receive their orders the day before they plan to serve them.
Bread and pastries reheat and revive beautifully — see our upcoming guide for the best way to freshen things up:
